My name is Marek Rybowicz and I was born 1980 in Biecz in Poland.
Throughout my life I have been fascinated with art; especially paintings and sculptures and I practised these art forms from an early age.
In 2006 I moved to England where I currently reside in West London.
I create my sculptures using a Lost Wax Bronze Casting Method.
I am mostly inspired by nature; I sculpt what I see around me as I can express my life and things that I find beautiful.
My art is the sum of conflicting aspects of my personality, and the search for my place in this world as a human.
People always ask for my artist statement so I have had to do one, but I've never liked to explain a certain piece of work. I'm happy that each person can take something different from the pieces I make.
